FRCC open Saturday with special spring registration hours

BRIGHTON, Colo. – As the Jan. 18 opening of the spring semester approaches, registration services will be available at Front Range Community College on Saturday, Jan. 8.

Assessment testing will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Allow two hours for this test. Some students may qualify for an exemption. It is recommended to schedule an appointment for testing by calling (303) 404-5099.

Other services – admission, advising, registration and financial aid assistance – will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bookstore will be available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Weekday service hours also are extended Jan. 10 to 21 at FRCC-Brighton Center, 1850 E. Egbert St. Hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays.

Continuing students may register online through www.frontrange.edu. New students may apply online, also through www.frontrange.edu. New students can find all of the information they need to get started at FRCC by going to www.frontrange.edu/getstarted.

All Colorado-resident students also should make sure they have applied for the College Opportunity Fund (COF), which is the state’s way of paying a portion of resident students’ tuition. Students must apply once. Financial Aid also is available to eligible students, which may include grants, work study and student loans. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the beginning of the process and can be completed at www.fafsa.gov.
