Rose Hill Elementary was recognized on Thursday, Dec. 9, as the Fit 4 Colorado School Challenge winner for December.The Fit 4 Colorado School Challenge, presented in partnership by CBS4 and HealthONE’s Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, recognizes schools that are working to create a healthy atmosphere within their schools, by coming up with creative and innovative ways to keep students and faculty healthy.
Rose Hill was recognized for showcasing exemplary initiatives that support and promote health and wellness. CBS4 Meteorologist, Jennifer Zeppelin, presented Rose Hill Principal, Samara Williams, with a check for $1,000 that will support the school’s ongoing health and wellness programs.
